Show "N Tell

Lillie had her first show and tell of Kindergarten. This is what she brought...
and this is what she said...
"This is mine. It's special, so no one can touch it but me." The End.
Well, she showed it to them. And she definitely told them stuff. Maybe our next Family Home Evening should be about sharing....

And in other funny Lillie news, tonight we had a good one. Lillie has an issue with raw carrots. They have to be perfect in every way to be considered worthy for ingestion. So tonight this was our dinner conversation:
Mom - "Lillie, which is worse? A carrot that has a crack in it, or a carrot that has a dark spot?"
Lillie - "Both are bad."
Dad - "But if you had to eat one, would you eat the one with the spot, or the crack?"
Lillie - "I wouldn't eat either one... I'm good at this game!"

Science Experiment

While Lillie is away at Kindergarten I'm trying to introduce some new things to Samuel. Right now we are really enjoying some science experiments. Today was the playdoh volcano. As you can see below, Samuel was pretty excited about it.

And once more for good measure....ah, there's the green food coloring we put in!

Look at me!

I'm cute!
...and relaxed!
...and busy! ...and chunky!

Samuel's 1st Day of Pre-School

Samuel started his first day of pre-school last week and he is so excited and proud! It's great for him to have something to do now. He's at the same place that Lillie was last year and it's great. He's in a class with two of his good friends from church so that's good too. He loves his class and his teacher and BTW.... he's back on track with potty training! I don't remember if I mentioned it, but he regressed when Lillie went to Kinder. Over the weekend he decided he was ready again and now we're not going back. Good job Samuel.
Look out world, here I come!Checking out a roly-poly before we leave.

Thank You Grandma!

It's always fun to get packages in the mail and a few weeks ago the kids got a great surprise... a surprise package from Grandma! Thank you for the beautiful clothes Grandma, you know how to make us look good!

We love having such a talented Grandma!
