Mia Maid End of School Mutual Party!

We love the end of the school year! So in honor of that love we had a party for mutual in our newly landscaped backyard. It was a great time!
But first.... Pictures of Isaac. Because he is just too cute!

Ok. Now we can move on :)

 Playing Heads Up

Ninja! Katelyn Simonsen taught them this game and my
kids have been asking to play it all summer long!

Well, I've been wanting to put a little table and chairs on this set but it has turned out
to be so popular as a stage that we might just leave it!

Isaac - 5 Months

Here is Isaac at 5 months and just as adorable as ever!

Citywide Bike Rodeo - Grant

Grant came in 1st place for his grade level at his school-wide bike rodeo this year so he was invited to participate in the city wide bike rodeo. He did a fantastic job and it was so cool to watch him ride in front of big crowds. Way to do Grant!

Grant and his buddy Austin Zufelt

"Mom, can we pleeeeeeaaaase run down the big hill behind the museum of Texan Cultures?"

Okaaaay...
I totally love these boys!

Redland Oaks Dance Party 2015

This is only our 2nd year at Redland Oaks but this dance party is a tradition that I already love and was looking forward to since it happened last year. The kiddos all work really hard the last month of school learning and practicing their dance and it is a total blast to watch them get down!

5th Grade Pool Party 2015 - Lil'Star

I absolutely cannot believe that I have a child that is practically finished with elementary school. Everyone always says how the time will fly. And I always feel it too. But this is just truly unbelievable! Lillie has done such an amazing job in elementary. She is an excellent student, polite, respectful, hardworking, and has made some really great friends. I am so thankful to all of the wonderful teachers and leaders that she has had in Pre-K through 5th. Thank you to Ms. Sherri (PK), Mrs. Gonzalez (K), Mrs. Chasteen (1st), Mrs. Pena (2nd), Mrs. Lopez (3rd), Mrs. D'Ambrosio (4th), and Mrs. Canady (5th). Not only was there not a single bad year, they were all absolutely fabulous years! We love you all and we thank you for all that you do!
I was really lucky to be able to help at the pool party that gets put on for the 5th grade. They get to miss a day of school, swim, eat, play games, and win cool prizes. It was a lot of fun!

Hangin' around with my bestie

These school days since Isaac has been born have been the best. Every day when the Bigs go off to school Mr. I. and I get to hang out all day. It's like having my first baby again except this time I'm not all nervous and stuff! Here are a few of my favs:

Chillin' in the highchair while mom bakes up some yummy cinnamon rolls

Loving his playmat

I took a pic of L and I like this when she was about this age and wanted to recreate it... I wish I had remembered to do this with S and G also!
Who knows, maybe I did. I need to look back through the archives.

Lil'Star enjoying said cinnamon roll
(Okay, blogging about this is now making me hungry for cinnamon rolls)

What a cutie Patootie!
