CUB SCOUTS CANDY DISPENSER PROJECT
We used the Cutlers garage and amazing tools to help the cubs make their own wooden candy dispenser. The boys did a great job and really enjoyed working with the tools.
G and Noah Hill master the power sander

Burrito Brother!

Meanwhile back at Urban Air Toddler time Isaac has mastered the rock wall and
begun to work on these enormously tall pylons! He is seriously so brave!

SAM'S 12 YEAR OLD TRIP- SNOWBOARDING!!!
Tim and Sam had a total blast! They went snowboarding in Ruidoso, NM for a week. They interspersed that with snow tubing, lots of yummy restaurants (with sodas and desserts at every meal), movies, and video games. They had a great time and Sam came back bitten by the snowboarding bug.

HAPPY VANLENTINES DAY!!!
We missed Dad and Sam this year - they were in NM -  and Lillie must have been busy because she didn't make it into any pics. But we love everyone and are so grateful for every single member of our eternal family!

HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY GRANT!!!
I cannot believe this kiddo is 10 already! Grant is such a funny guy and keeps our family laughing all the time! He is very analytical and loves to play games, especially strategy ones (chess, monopoly, risk), try his hand at skateboarding and rollerblading, and he is still trying to convince mom and dad to let him get a snake! He is our tallest kid to date and is looking forward to the prospect of being the tallest brother of the lot. He is a super smart guy and in advanced math and reading groups at school. We love you Grant! We are so proud of you and love that you are in our family. It is a privilege to watch you grow up!
Nobody loves Gracie more than Grant. He gets several daily cuddle sessions in.

G loves marble works - he did a great job on this one!

Isaac had another successful superhero gymnastics session!

MONSTER TRUCK JAM
The boys enjoyed another awesome truck jam - going with Dallin and Russell - and of course this meant that Lillie, Audrey, and Isaac enjoyed an evening at the cheesecake factory - Yum!

January 2019

Welcome to the Doolittle Family - 2019!

I cannot wait to see what changes this year brings! At the beginning of this year we were very settled on our family of 6 and have plans to stay in Austin. We plan on continuing to rent this house through May of 2020 and then buying a house in the Anderson Mill ward area. Lillie has settled nicely into her Freshman year at Vandegrift - minus Pre-AP Geometry - that leaves her in tears nightly. Sam is making some good friends in 7th grade at FPMS (but ready to drop band for theatre) and Grant is trucking along through elementary school. Mom forced him to be part of garden club this year. Isaac is still not in pre-K (waaaaay to expensive around here!) but he goes twice a week to super hero gymnastics and plays 3-4 days a week at the YMCA kids club. Mom works out there as a hobby, enjoys breakfast club and book club with Megan and Jamie, and working with the cub scouts at church. Things are going....alright for Dad at Hot Schedules. He continues to enjoy getting out to camp, backpack, and hunt. Mom and Dad are training for a summer backpacking trip to Mt. Rainer!

OLDER BOYS CAMPING TRIP/ MOM, LILLIE, ISAAC WEEKEND

NEW HAIRCUTS!
Well apparently we did not get "after" pics of L or "before" pics of A...facepalm

MORE SHENANIGANS AT THE AUSTIN AQUARIUM WITH CAMDEN CUTLER

G COFFEE HOUSE POETRY
The 4th graders put on Coffee house poetry and it was awesome! The multi-use room was set up just like a coffee house with little tables and chairs. There were breakfast snacks and drinks for the parents and each kiddo got up and recited their own poetry. What a cool project! Grant totally rocked it up there. He had his awesome poem memorized and looked calm and cool in front of everyone. I was so proud!
The Dab!
Grant and his friend Aarya

Silly times with Auntie Katie - it's so much fun living close to her again!

MLK Day - hike on Riverplace Trail

LILLIE'S WINTER CHOIR CONCERT
It has been so wonderful to see Lillie grow in her singing talent and be a part of something so fun!

PLAYGROUP
We've started meeting at Urban Air for toddler time on the mornings with bad weather. Isaac cannot get enough of the rock wall!

CHESS TOURNAMENT
G has started chess and really enjoys it! He competed in his first all day chess tournament. We went downtown to the host elementary school and G play several rounds - in between there was more chess, running around with friends, eating, reading, talking. It was a great day! I have loved seeing him pursue something that he really enjoys doing.
S getting prepped for his snowboard trip next month

HEB - you hold such a special place in our hearts
