I Voted!

Well the 2016 Presidential Race turned out to be quite...interesting to say the least. Our choices were Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Yeah. Pretty Gross. So I went with a non-choice and voted my heart with McMullin.
He didn't win. Needless to say the news has been more than interesting now that a deluded narcissist is in charge!

Lillie is Awarded a Driscoll Star!

Lillie was given one of the highest honors that Driscoll Middle School offers to its students, The Driscoll Star. Each semester each teacher in the grade chooses one student that exhibits qualities of leadership, academic excellence, integrity, and honor amongst other qualifications. It was so great to go and celebrate Lillie's hard work. We are so proud of you baby girl!

Halloween 2016

It's the start of the holiday season! I am so happy! Halloween was a ton of fun this year. For the first time ever I put together a costume for myself that I was truly excited about. The kids loved their costumes and Isaac got really into it this year. Since he's nearing 2 years old he definitely knows all about the candy. Without further ado may I present:
Samuel the Stick Figure
Grant the skeleton
L the 80's Prom Queen
Isaac as Thomas the Train
and Mom as a Flapper Girl

L with Aydia and Michelle Galle at the ward trunk or treat
Our ever growing group of neighborhood trick of treaters:
this year we added The Sowyers, McCowns, and Snedekers to our group!

Isaac would not put down his candy bucket. He had to fall asleep with it sitting on his dresser

The Fall Fun Continues

Donut Day!
Just got the kids 1st 9 weeks report card so of course we headed to Krispy Kreme so they could get free donuts for their A's! As always they shared their spoils with Mr. I.

G and the 1st arrows he's made into the target!
G you are the coolest kid ever!
L with her friends Logan and Alex at the first academic UIL competition of the season

 Cub scout Fall family activity

 Beauty and the Beast
In October Michelle and I took our girls Lillie and Aydia to see a production of Beauty and the Beast at The Playhouse. They did such a beautiful job with it and strangely Gaston was our favorite!

 The Wardrobe
 Lumiere
 Mrs. Potts
 Le Fou and Gaston

More Diving

L and G are really making great progress! It is so fun to watch them try new stuff:

Mom Surprises Aunt Allison for Her Birthday!

Around July I got the brilliant idea to fly to Idaho and surprise Allison for her birthday. After some planning and scheming with Uncle Brenden we made it happen. She came to pick me up where the shuttle dropped off under the impression she was picking up one of Brenden's old mission companions. It was such a great surprise! There was a lot of hugging and crying of course and we were both so happy to be together! Now to have a blast for the next 3 1/2 days!

Allison with the Gaines' magazine Dad sent for her

Happy birthday girl!

While in Rexburg I got to catch up with one of my old YW Lindsey Slaughter!

Spending the day in Jackson Hole
"F" the old west? Now come on, that just ain't right!

Sister love!

Trying out another place on Diner's, Drive-Ins, and Dives....It was yummy!

He said to only bring it back if I was getting the tail

More Random Fall Fun

One of Isaac's morning routines....so frustrating, but oh so cute!

Here he is...so proud of his work!

Enjoy a treat out with the girls after Women's Conference
L to R: Rachel Conrad, Mom, L, Mary Candland, Hayley Blan,
Abigail and Tiffany Salter, Christine Blan, Angie and Hannah Conrad

Every time I go to Sprouts Grocery to fill up our water containers one of the bulk food workers named Abdul comes and says hello to us and lets Isaac pick out a treat for free. Of course Isaac loves to go and get water! He usually picks dark chocolate covered pretzels but he's here with his treat of choice today: choco buttons - almost like m&m's!

Crazy hair selfie!
Oh how I love these boys!

In nursery they had the children plant some grass seeds.
Isaac loves his plant and makes sure that we give it water and talk to it on a daily basis.

I always love when I go to tuck the boys in and they've fallen asleep in the same bed

L sporting her new duds after a random shopping trip with Grammy - this girl can rock a hat!

General Conference Weekend
I believe we only have pics of Sunday morning since we're all in our pj's
Love! S is so good with I!

And Isaac cannot get enough of his Grammy!

Oh look, we got dressed for the day!
Melty beads and paint were in strong force this time as a way to express what they were learning.

GC cinnamon rolls!

Redland Oaks did a fundraiser at Barnes and Noble and we went to visit for Mrs. Mulroy's storytime
