Seven days before M was born Aunt Allison had Clayton. And ten days after M was born Aunt Becca had Spencer - so many babies! Grammy went to go and help in Idaho and luckily we had Grandma come and stay with us for a solid month! She was a huge help plus I don't think she minded all those baby cuddles <3

When L comes home after school she immediately goes to M and hangs out for the rest of the day. That sister love is real and it's strong! Here she is encouraging her during tummy time.

EAR TAPING - When Maddie was born both of her ears folded down in the cutest way. The doctors said they would unfold in a day or two. When they didn't we decided to take her to a specialist - we absolutely LOVED her ears but thought that middle school Madeleine might appreciate it if her ears were a tad more unfolded. She had to visit the Dr. once a week to have her ears untaped, checked, then retaped again. Basically they were just formed into a shape and then taped that way. Infants ear cartilage is incredibly soft initially but hardens up fairly quickly over a couple of months. If taped into shape long enough they should retain that shape permanently. We had to be careful not to get them wet so baths were a little hard. Other than that it was a breeze. She had the tapes on for about 6 weeks and by the time they came off we forgot what she looked like without them!

AUDREY AS A BABY - So many people have commented how M looks just like mom so Grammy sent some old baby pics for comparison. Introducing Audrey circa 1981:

SHOW CHOIR COMPETITION - L and I were able to spend the day together at her 2nd show choir competition and it was a blast! These girls have worked so hard and they are amazing!

M is not great at sleeping in her cradle. Every night L goes in and holds her for 2-3 hours while she calms down enough to sleep on her own. This seriously went on for months! It was great because it allowed me to take care of dinner and everyone else and it was a beautiful bonding time for L and M! Lillie never complained - she offered every night and loved it! She is a second mom to M for sure.

Sam loved taking his cuddle time with M whenever he can for as long as he can get!

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY GRANT!!!

Grant is sailing through 5th grade and doing a phenomenal job at it. He is such a great big brother, loves LOVES roller coasters and thrill rides and is beginning to really make a study of them, he's our in house chess whiz and music expert. He is so creative and is really beginning to have such an awesome sense of humor. We love you so much Grant - Happy Birthday!

Grant went took his BFF's Cara and Ryan to the Escape Game for his Bday - I went in with them and it was so much fun! And we totally escaped!
