June

For Valentines Day Tim bought us tickets to see An American In Paris on Broadway. It was awesome!
I had previously heard of it but didn't know the story so it was great to see something new.
And of course, I had the best company.

Lillie's Final Choir Concert of 8th Grade:
Debra Temple, Lillie's YW president came to see her sing.

We love you Lillie! It has been so awesome to see you grow as a singer this year!

Grant's Last Day of 3rd Grade:
Isaac and I got to go and visit Grant on his last day of school. He had a cool end of year project to present aaaannnndddd.....

Party Time Baby!
Isaac is currently in a phase where he wears this ninja costume everywhere. So cute!

Grant was the limbo king of 3rd grade!

This is Sam's "It's Summer!!!!" face ^

Lillie's 8th Grade Graduation:

I cannot believe that we are already here. I've got this girl for 12 more weeks and then I have to send her to high school. Already. I cannot believe how time has flown. She's ready but I so am not.

We are so proud of you in all the ways Lillie!

Summer!!!!!!
What better way to start out the summer than some celebratory donuts
to welcome the kids when they get home?

Apparently, 8th grade was real tiring.

Grant's Cub Camp:

Jamie Cutler, Megan Peterson and I put on cub camp for the boys this year. I guess the local one is kinda lame so we made up our own and everyone loved it! It was way better than being stuck out in the heat for 8 hours M-F doing the exact same thing every day.

Day 1 - Geocaching - We never made it to the cache but we had an awesome hike and found some great water to stop and play in and eat by. I call it a win.
L to R: Grant, Jack Peterson, Titan Espersen, Bennet Peterson, Houston Bourne, Logan Roberts, Cooper Cutler, Noah Hill, Luke Espersen

While we were doing cub camp Lillie was at girls camp as a 3rd year.
This was my only year not camping with her and I missed it so much!
But Tim went up for one night and day and she loved having him up there with her.

Cub Camp Day 2 - Texas Military Museum

Cub Camp Day 3 - Round Rock Recycling Center

Cub Camp Day 4 - Swim and Pizza Party at the Cutler's

Isaac and Camden started becoming friends back in January when Jamie got called into Cubs with me. I'd go to her house to plan meetings and they started having a ton of fun together. But this week solidified it. Every day that Jamie and I took the boys out these two went to Amanda Espersen's house to play. (So funny because they called her "Espersen" as though that was her first name :) They have become total BFF

Lazy summer days

Sam's UT Band Camp - of summertime band camps in Texas UT reigns supreme. Sam wanted to stay overnight but I was too nervous to let him do it. That was my mistake. Getting him down there every morning and back in the afternoon ended up being 4 hours a day in the car for me. Next year he can be a full-time camper. Anyways, he learned a lot and had a great time doing it!

Father's Day-

Grant won something from a claw machine!

Lillie caught a frog! So cute and all the kids had fun with him before we set him free again.

Happy 12th Birthday Sam!

12 is a big year - Sam is about to receive the Aaronic priesthood and go into Young Men's. He has grown so much since he started middle school a year ago. He has such a great sense of humor and brings so much laughter to our family. He is also such a fantastic brother and is always starting fun games for everyone to play. It has been awesome to watch him grow in his talents and interests. He continues to love video games, robots, engineering (specifically building) and casually playing basketball and football and getting outside on his skateboard or scooter. Happy Birthday Buddy! One more year until teens!

I was pretty happy with how his "cake" turned out.
He requested a cookie cake with all of his favorite candies.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us!

Jason and Becca also brought their boys down for a visit so we could all hang out.

The girls went down to South Congress one night to watch the bats fly out. It was cool but a little underwhelming. I'm glad to say I've done it but I was definitely expecting a lot more. It was fun to hang out with all the girls though!
