Redland Oaks Spring Carnival 201

As always the spring carnival is lots of fun. And this year it wasn't rainy like last year!

Oh this one had a fantastic time sinking his teacher of 2 years!

In the conga line

Lilie's Induction into NJHS

Well, we've always known our daughter was brilliant and an incredibly hard worker. Now she has the official backing of the NJHS behind her! We are so proud of Lillie and all of her hard work and accomplishments and were so excited to celebrate this special night with her.

In her new dress we found that was perfect for the occasion!
This was one of those miracle shopping trips where you walk into the store with like 30 minutes to shop the night before the event. You find the dress right away, AND it's only $10!

With her friends Kenya and Ava who were also inducted

Spring Break 2017

Woo Hoo! Spring Break is here at last! We look forward to the adventures that we have every year and this year did not disappoint.
We started off with a repeat from 2015 - I believe - of Morgan's Wonderland. The kids loved it then and wanted to go again. And luckily, it was just as perfect as day as the previous time! Beautiful crisp weather and not too many people.

Next we to a day hike in McKinney Falls State Park. Grammy came with us for this one. It was so gorgeous! It was warm enough to splash in the water - which was nice because the kids splash in the water no matter what temp it is!

Of course we took a day break and hung out with kids in the cul de sac - can't say it enough but I love our neighborhood!

And we finished off with a repeat from last year - A trip to Corpus for swimming and coastal town adventure. Grammy and Grandad joined us again - I like this tradition we're forming! - and it was made even better because Tim got to come this year!
Heading to the hotel pool

Enjoying a warm day at the beach:
Sam as The Hulk!

Grant trying to become a sand sculpture but only had the patience for the legs :)

Building Isaac his own personal ocean - he's still scared of the big one

Grammy as artsy as ever!

Finishing off at the USS Lexington

We finished off Spring Break by getting a couple of things delivered:
Mom and Dad's new kitchen table!
We have waited so long for the perfect one to
come along and I'm so glad that we did. I'm in love!

And Pokemon for the boys. This was the first time they've
ever ordered something online and were so stoked when it came in.
They invited William right over to open the packages and commence with the trading.
