It has been such a wonderful and eventful school year that brought a lot of changes but we did it and we are ready for 12 blissful semi-schedule-less weeks!

Rocked 3rd grade and ready for his 12 favorite weeks of the year!
The 5th graders have an awards ceremony and this one was pretty special. Lillie was one of only a handful of kids that received the Presidential Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. I don't know many kids that work harder than Lillie. We are so proud of her and we were so excited to share in the celebration of her accomplishment today!

I love this crew!

So I didn't attend the end of day ceremonies on the last day of school last year. I didn't even know this was a thing. But they do a big flag lowering ceremony, sing the school song, then all the the kids line the hallways and say goodbye as all of the graduating 5th graders walk one last time through the halls to music. Talk about creating a tear jerking moment! Between 5th grade students, teachers, and parents there was not a dry eye. And Lillie who has never cried at the end of the year and hadn't cried at all that entire day was the biggest baller of the afternoon! Good job Redland Oaks. Nicely done. You really know how to tug on those heart strings!
I didn't take pics of the kids walking through the halls because I just wanted to enjoy the moment. But it happened. And it was awesome.
