WELCOME TO THE WORLD MADELEINE PAIGE!!!
Mom at 40 weeks pregnant on the last Sunday before M's arrival

1~25~2020 - I had a scheduled C-section for the upcoming Monday 1/27/20 however M decided she was ready and I went into active labor the night of 1/24-1/25. Things didn't seem too far along in the morning and based on Isaac's looooong arrival time I felt it was safe to send Tim and Sam on their planned Young Men's hike. Around 9am I was calling Tim saying "come home NOW!" Grandma had flown in from UT the night before and once Tim made it home we called Grammy and let her know it was time (she starting racing from SA to get there) and the rest of us headed to the hospital while Lillie stayed with the rest of the kids at home. One uncomfortable car ride, a hospital check in, and a C-section later and we had our newest little Doolittle!
She is adorable as adorable can be and of course no one can get enough of her! Welcome to the world Madeleine Paige ~ you could not be more loved!

COMING HOME! - Everyone is so thrilled to have you come home - now they can hold you whenever they want to  - and believe me, they do! You are constantly being held by someone and you love it! The only thing you are not a fan of is sleeping alone in your cradle. It's a good thing you were born last so you have so many people to love on you!

Uncle Jason and Aunt Becca sent you some Birthday cupcakes in celebration!

December 2019

Merry Christmas!!! We are one month away from welcoming our brand new baby girl into our family and we couldn't be more excited! Our December was filled with lots of wonderful activities to help bring the spirit into our home. I am so grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ - I love this special time of year where the world stops to celebrate what His birth meant for all the people who inhabit the earth. And I am so incredibly grateful to have my beautiful family to be with!

THESE SHINING LIVES
Sam played Mr. Reed (the plant foreman) and the Judge in this heartbreaking rendition of the women whose lives were ended too soon from neglectful exposure to radium. The content was deep, and difficult but the cast was excellent! It is wonderful to see Sam act and have so much fun with it. He is a natural up there and really seems to enjoy what he's doing!

LILLIE'S CHRISTMAS CHOIR CONCERT
This is always my favorite concert of the year!

Isaac playing with my phone and catching me in my natural state. I've titled this piece:
"Ready to Deliver - at HEB"

CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES

ISAAC'S 5TH BIRTHDAY!
I cannot believe that Isaac is 5! This boy is a bundle of energy, creativity, laughter, and joy. He loves friends sooooo much! I have never seen a kiddo who is so happy to play with others all the time! His favorite things in the world are superhero gymnastics, playing at Camdens house, swimming, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie (books and tv show), spending time with his mom, and creative play (he can make a toy out of ANYTHING!) We love you so much Isaac!
This year for his birthday we spent the day at the aquarium and then the day after Tim and I took him and his best friends to celebrate at Chuck E. Cheese and after to eat at his favorite restaurant - Freddy's

GRANT'S 5TH GRADE CHRISTMAS PARTY
What a great party! It was bittersweet - sweet because...Christmas Break! Bitter because it was Mrs. Horning's last day with the class. Her husband got a job in Baltimore and they had to move over the break. She was such an awesome teacher!!! (And Mr. Williams who came afterwards didn't jive with G so well.) Nevertheless we did not know that yet so mostly we just had a great time party-ing!

TRAIL OF LIGHTS
Holy cow this place was packed! We went with the Petersons and the Cutlers and had a great time!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
It has been a hard, fun, busy, and fantastic year with you all...I can't wait to see what 2020 brings!
