June 2020

We had Dallin and Russell come and stay with us for a few days and then sent our 3 boys to their house for a few days. They all had a great time! We spent lots of time at our new neighborhood pool - trying to find ways to have fun on our own while we work on making friends during Covid. Moving is extra hard in 2020!

Father's Day! - We bought a Traeger smoker for Tim - he has been wanting one for a couple of years. So excited to see what he smokes up!

Sam turns 14! - All Sam wanted for his birthday were Legos and to hang out with his best friends in Austin. The Legos were easy to deliver on. I brought him to the Lego store in the mall where he purchased more sets in one go than he ever had before! Then we all went down to Austin where Tim took Sam and his friends Blake and Connor for a fun night at a hotel and then back to the Cutler's for a swim party the next day. Thank you so much to the Cutler's for hosting us! 

Sam is such an amazing guy! He's about to start High School and I truly cannot believe it. He is ready though!

Driving Practice! Austin was the worst for teaching a kiddo to drive. With Lillie close to 16 we've really ramped up the driving practice and she's doing great! Here she is cook as a cucumber on 75.

 This month we were busy with: Mother's Day, End of school year, M's baby blessing, and packing the house and moving

Trying to make our own rock candy - unfortunately it just attracted ants - but it was fun to do together!

Happy Mother's Day - I am the luckiest woman alive, I swear!

Grant has started backpacking with Dad and totally loves it!

Maddie's Baby blessing! - We kept holding off but eventually realized we weren't going to be gathering in church congregations any time soon so we held a virtual baby blessing. Luckily Jason and Becca and their boys were able to come down so we held a double cousin blessing and it was such an incredible day!

Done with 5th, 10th, and 8th!

Aunt Laura met a guy!!! Brian - we met him. He's awesome. Stay tuned.

Saying bye to the awesome front yard swing - seriously, the kids got so much mileage out of this thing!

Such a sweet story - every night M cries and cries for about 3 hours unless she is being cuddled in Mom and Dad's room, being rocked in this chair, by her one and only sister. And lucky for all of us Lillie has been more than happy to comply as long as she's home. What sweet sisters!

For the first time ever we had a company pack us up and it was truly incredible. It took away at least 50% of the stress that comes with moving. They did the entire thing in one day.

Time to say goodbye! :( We have loved our time in Austin so much. We truly thought this was going to be our permanent resting place and we knew and loved so many wonderful here. We will miss all of our Austin peeps, we're nervous about what's coming next, but we know the Lord is guiding us there!
