This year Lillie's Advanced Art teacher signed the class up to participate in Downtown SA's Chalk It Up Event. The city closed off several blocks downtown for the day and schools and local artists came and chalked up all of the streets and sidewalks. We dropped her off with her class to create and then hung out, looked around, and participated in the free art events they offered. It was amazing to see some of the art that people were making and just a fantastic way to spend our morning!
