February

Isaac is loving his new digger! He's getting pretty good at steering it around too.

Lillie spent all day making this Nutella hazelnut cake. It was one of the most delicious things we have ever eaten! It has an awesome crispy hazelnut meringue filling. Yum!

Cheeto lips!

After we moved to Austin Isaac was missing Grammy and Grandad and vice versa. We met halfway in San Marcos and Grammy took Isaac back to their house for a day. Isaac was totally in hog heaven! They took him to Walmart and let him pick out a toy. He chose a red power rangers sword that made fighting sounds. Well, he wanted to play "swords" so they went home and Grandad fashioned swords for them out of cardboard and aluminum foil and they had several epic battles. I love that man!-

Cub Scouts at our house - always a good time, always crazy!
Here are the Wolfs passing off their chef requirement.

And the Wolfs had some kind of building thing we were learning

Happy 9th Birthday Grant!
Going to the movies with his friend Bennett Peterson

A fancy crepe breakfast with the fam!

I'm pretty sure there's nothing in there besides whipped cream :)

He has been looking forward to this 2DS for a looooong time!

Loving his 2DS and new betta fish
I can't believe that you're 9 already Grant!
You bring so much fun and excitement to our family and to the world!
We are so lucky to have you forever Grant!

Fun with Isaac at the Austin Nature Science Center:

Grammy and her favorite non-human item

We spent the day exploring Zilker Park in downtown Austin soon after we moved here. We had a lot of fun picnic-ing, playing games, and hiking and biking around the lake. Lillie took her new camera to play around with some artsy shots. A couple of my favorites are pictured below:
My goofy girl

Grammy pulled out some old memories and sent them over. I thought it would be fun to include them here!
Grammy and Mom, I think I'm about 18 months old here.

Tim and his friends Don and Ben took a backpacking trip to East Texas. This is the 2nd trip they've taken and they have a great time! I really hope these trips become a habit.

Lillie's choir concert at Four Points Middle School.
I have been telling her for a couple of years that she should do choir and that she would love it so much. When we moved to Austin and she had no option for Home Ec she finally tried it out and she loves it!

Traveling back to SA for game nights it quite a haul but ALWAYS worth it. These are our friends for life!

Grant always enjoys an afternoon cuddle (or an anytime cuddle) with this sweet kitty.
