TIM'S BIRTHDAY
Happy Birthday Tim! I have no idea why there are no pictures....1st trimester pregnancy is my sneaking suspicion...but Hopefully you had an awesome birthday anyway!
4TH OF JULY
We had a great 4th of July hanging out with the Petersons, Ferrels, and Cutlers. Their neighbors at the end of the cul de sac put on a great fireworks show. Lillie was at EFY and we missed hanging out with her but she had a great time there as well!
EFY -
Lillie's 2nd year - they went to A&M this year. And at drop off she met Ruthie so that was super fun to catch up!
We all had a lot of fun 4th of July week. G-ma and G-pa came from Utah for a visit. S and G got to hang out at the lake with the Petersons, and we had fun dressing like cows for Chick-fil-A's bday. I also took the boys down to the skate park one morning for them to try our their skateboards.
HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY LILLIE!

SIX FLAGS
Grant and his BFF Cara won free 6 flags tickets through the school's reading program and I promised I would take them as a way to do a belated bday celebration for G. Cara was not a fan of the biggest thrill coasters but she patiently waited for G and he happily rode alone. We did the regular park, water park, and regular park again and we were all beat by the end of the day!
Accidentally left a soda in the car and when we came back saw that it had exploded everywhere in that heat! We stopped at buccees on the way home where they picked out their bday party take home gift.
LITTLE NUGGET
This summer brought our first ultrasound of Doolittle #5. After all of these weeks and weeks of sickness it did my heart a lot of good to see that little sweetheart squirming around in there. We can't wait to meet you in January!
And surprise surprise - Auntie Allison is pregnant too! She's due about 2 weeks before I am.
Lillie worked so hard this summer to get her initial class time done so she could get her Driver's Permit on her actual birthday - Texas is about to have another driver on the road ya'll! We love this girl so much - she loves to sing, create, be in charge, organize, bake, and make things beautiful. She is the best sister and is always looking for ways to let others know they are loved. We love you so much and are so proud of you Lillie!
FAMILY VACATION - CRUISE TO MEXICO, HONDURAS, & BELIZE
We had been planning to do a family ski vacation around Christmas but considering that I'll be 8 months pregnant at that point it didn't seem like the best idea. So we changed plans to an end of summer cruise instead! We planned it for the very beginning of my 2nd trimester so I would *hopefully* feel better. I was tired and I had to make sure to eat often, but it wasn't bad (I didn't throw up once which was a 1000% improvement!) The boys ran around the ship and made ship friends, Lillie and Grammy were big travel buddies, Isaac wanted to spend all his time at the golf course or tall slide so all the grown ups passed him around for that.
My favorites were the family games shows, zip lining in Honduras, and the movies on the deck every nights.
Isaac got sick the first night we were there and at 11pm had a raging fever. Of course it was the one and only time I have ever neglected to bring meds on a trip. Unfortunately we had to visit the ships Dr as the shops were closed. Aaaaaand it was after hours so we had to pay an extra fee. Turned out we paid $150 for a $3 bottle of off brand liquid tylenol - the ship charges $12 for it, plus a $38 Dr fee, plus a $100 fee tacked on because it was "after hours" - we were 5 minutes past closing. Suffice it say it was money well spent. We used that entire bottle - with it he ran around like a normal happy 4 year old maniac. Without it he was a feverish cranky mess. $150 to save a family vacation? Absolutely.
All in all we had a completely fantastic time together!
HONDURAS - Zip Lining, Monkeys & Parrots, and the Beach...and SLOTHS!!!!! (The sloth's were Lillie's favorite part - she has been dying to hold one! She totally teared up when she got one, it was so sweet!)
Not many pics of Belize - we let Isaac rest from the excursion. Him and I ventured off the boat and walked around the port a bit. Everyone else did Butt's Up River Cave tours. They said it could have been cool but left a lot to be desired. The drive to get to it was long and there was an incredible amount of hiking. I'm glad we kept Isaac back! Also, they fed you at the end and apparently L and T said they had the best tamales of their life!
